What is role play?
Role play using actors takes this technique to a whole new level. Delegates can experiment with their newly learned skills and get direct feedback on how they are doing. This provides the best possible practice ground for new skills. Many participants describe forgetting that they were role-playing because the situation felt so real.
Role play scenarios can be pre-written to provide a challenge that is typical for the delegates’ job role or they can be devised by the delegates themselves. Either way they face a realistic challenge which will stretch their abilities.
Role play is particularly effective when used in interpersonal skills training but can be used to support many other subject areas.
