Actor Facilitators
Our Actor/Facilitators have both the skill set associated with performing drama-based scenarios for learning events and the set required to run the session as a whole. That means that they can provide a very cost-effective way of achieving your drama-based training objectives. Some of the ways in which organisations are using our Actor/Facilitators are:
Demonstrations of Models and Theories
Management Models and Theories come to life for learners when they see them demonstrated in front of them. Our Actor/Facilitators will explain the model or theory and then (with another actor) demostrate what that looks like in practice. The Actor/Facilitator will then run discussions around the model to ensure that full understanding is achieved.
Examples of the types of theories that can be
demonstrated are:
- Social Styles
- Transactional Analysis
- Conflict Resolution Styles
- Negotiation Strategies
- Question Funnelling
- Coaching GROW Model
- Aggressive/Assertive/Passive
Small Group Roleplay

Actor/Facilitators can run small group roleplay sessions in which each group member roleplays one-to-one to practice ther skills. The Actor/Facilitator is able to step in and out of character allowing them to play the character in the roleplay but also to facilitate discussions about what is happening in the roleplay. Typically an Actor/Facilitator will run sessions with up to six people, each one getting their turn at skills practice.
